  • the position of the damaged glass (front, side, rear, panoramic, other glass);
  • the size and nature of the glass damage (chip, crack, split, shatter, other damage);
  • glass configuration;
  • the presence/absence of insurance coverage;
  • the terms of the insurance contract (deductible or other payments).

Windshield repair
Carglass® primarily offers to repair damage to the windshield of a car, if it is only a chip, with a diameter of up to 2.5 cm, it is located outside the driver's field of vision and is at least 6 cm from the edge of the glass. Chip repair is a fast, reliable and sustainable solution. By choosing a chip repair service, you also contribute to preserving the environment.

Windshield replacement
Windshield replacement is inevitably necessary if the glass has cracked or broken or the windshield is damaged beyond repair. The price of glass replacement varies depending on the make, model, and glass configuration of the car. The price list only indicates the labor price, to which the glass price will also be added. We will be able to provide the full price of the glass replacement service once we know the glass configuration of your vehicle.

Priority to glass repair

We prioritize windscreen chip repair. It’s a solution that’s both beneficial for you and environmentally friendly. We replace the glass only when necessary, i.e., when repair is not possible for certain reasons or when the chip has already turned into a crack.
When booking a glass repair or replacement service with Carglass®, you do not need to contact your insurance company separately to arrange the terms. We will handle all the insurance-related glass damage formalities.
