When is windscreen replacement necessary?
Replacement is necessary if:
- the damage is in the driver’s direct field of vision, i.e. in the area of space located 29-30 cm above the steering wheel;
- the damage exceeds the diameter of a two-euro coin;
- the damage is located closer than 6 cm from the edge of the glass, as there is a high probability that the windshield will crack during the process of removing the splinter.
