Can windscreen damage be repaired, or do you need to replace the entire glass?

It depends on the type, size and location of the damage. If it is just a chip up to 2.5 cm in diameter outside the driver’s field of vision, at least 6 cm from the edge of the glass, it can usually be repaired. If it is a crack, the glass will inevitably need to be replaced.
